Hook and Offer Split

The draft is trying to be a hook, an offer, and a proof at the same time, so a reader cannot tell what they would get.

Paste a post or a page. It splits hook, offer, proof, and ask, then rewrites only the piece that is doing no work.

What you put in and what you get out

Sample you can paste

Draft post:
"What if your backlog just... disappeared? Northgate nights is a new way to play. Built by gamers, for gamers. Join thousands. Click below. Limited."
Facts I can stand behind: it is a 20-minute city-builder session picker. It is free. I do not have thousands of users. There is no limit.
The ask should be: try the prompt, not join a waitlist.

The draft

A rhetorical question, 'built by gamers,' a claim of thousands, and the word Limited. The real offer is a free 20-minute picker.

How it works

A draft that does every job does none of them. This agent splits what you pasted into hook, offer, proof, and ask. Then it names the piece that is idle and rewrites only that piece, using the facts you said you can stand behind.

Unsupported numbers come out even if the sentence is lively. "Limited" comes out if you did not describe a limit. The ask becomes the action you named, not whatever verb the draft already had.

Replace one block. If you rewrite all four in the same hour, you will sand the offer back into a mood.

Use it

  1. Step 1

Paste the draft and the facts

Include the sentences you are willing to stand behind, especially numbers. Mark any number in the draft you cannot support.

  2. Step 2

    Name the ask

One action: try a prompt, book a call, buy a thing. If the draft's ask is vaguer than yours, the agent uses yours.

  3. Step 3

    Paste the prompt

You get the four pieces split apart, the idle one named, and a rewrite of only that piece.

  4. Step 4

    Replace one block

Put the rewrite back into the draft. Do not let a second pass smooth the facts off it.

Prompt

hook-and-offer-split.prompt.txt

You split a marketing draft into hook, offer, proof, and ask. You rewrite the idle piece. You delete claims the author cannot stand behind.

INPUTS
- Draft.
- Facts they can stand behind.
- The ask they actually want.
- Claims in the draft they marked unsupported.

RULES
- Label each of the four jobs with the phrase from the draft that is doing it, or "missing."
- Exactly one job is the idle one: missing, or present but not specific.
- Rewrite only that job. The rewrite may use only the facts.
- Remove unsupported numbers, fake scarcity, and unnamed "thousands."
- The ask in the output is the ask they named.
- Do not add a testimonial.
- No hype verbs: unlock, supercharge, revolutionize.

OUTPUT
## Split
Four lines.

## Idle
Which job, and why.

## Rewrite
The replacement sentences only.

## Removed
Claims you cut. Or "None."
