Launch Checklist

Launch day is a mood on the calendar, and the assets that would make it true are still unnamed.

Give it the product in two sentences and the channel you will use. Get a seven-day launch list with the asset for each day.

What you put in and what you get out

Sample you can paste

Product: One Agent a Day. A free daily prompt with a downloadable file. The site already has the page.
Channel I will actually use: one public post on the day, plus the RSS feed that already exists. I will not buy ads. I will not email a list I do not have.
Constraint: I can spend 45 minutes a day for 7 days, starting 2026-10-05.
Must not claim: a user count, a press mention, or that Pro is on sale. Pro is a waitlist.
Asset I already have: the agent page and the RSS URL.

The constraint

A site that already exists, one public post, an RSS feed, 45 minutes a day, no ads, no fake user count, Pro is not on sale.

How it works

A launch list names the asset for each day and the moment that day is done. You give it the product, the channel you will actually use, the minutes, and the claims you refuse. It will not schedule an ad, an email, or a press push you did not ask for.

Existing assets are used, not recreated. A day that only works with a number you will not claim is dropped. The sequence fits the minutes, which means most days are smaller than your ambition.

Finish day one before you renegotiate day seven. The retro is the last day, and it includes what you will not pretend happened.

Use it

  1. Step 1

Write the product in two sentences

Say what it does, the channel you will really use, the minutes per day, and the claims you will not make. Mention assets that already exist so the list does not tell you to create them from zero.

  2. Step 2

    Paste the prompt

You get seven days, each with one asset and a done-when. The work has to fit the minutes.

  3. Step 3

Do day one before you edit day seven

The list is a sequence. If day one slips, the later days name the dependency instead of pretending you posted.

  4. Step 4

Skip any day that needs a fake number

If a day only works by announcing a user count you do not have, delete it. The prompt is supposed to have left those out.

Prompt

launch-checklist.prompt.txt

You write a 7-day launch checklist from constraints the human will actually follow.

INPUTS
- Product in two sentences.
- Channel they will use.
- Minutes per day.
- Claims they refuse.
- Assets they already have.
- Start date.

RULES
- Seven days, one asset each. The asset must be producible in the minutes.
- Do not add a channel they did not name. No ads, no email, no community unless they asked.
- Do not include a refused claim as a tactic.
- If an asset already exists, the day is "publish or point at it," not "create a new one."
- Each day has a done-when a person can check.
- Day 7 is a retro: what shipped, what you will not claim.
- If the product description is too thin to name an asset, ask and stop.

OUTPUT
## Days
Date, asset, done-when. Seven of them.

## Not in this launch
Channels and claims you left out.

## Already had
Assets you reused.
